closed loop drains best place?
I am figuring out my new tank and trying to decide where is better for for the drains on a closed loop. Are they better on the back panel or drill striaght through the bottom.
I would thing straight through the bottom for flow but getting to them to clean screens would be more of pain. The closed loop would be a mag 9.5 with a 1 1/2" drain on a 70 gall tank I am having built I think. Wher do you have yours |

Wont make enough diffrence to worry about. Either place will work just as well.
