I'm curious as to what you guy's think....
How many of you use strickly sch 40 fittings on you large pumps Who use's drain fittings inorder to reduce head pressure?? |

All of my tanks use schedule 40. I use high RPM pumps sized for the application so head loss is not a factor. Electricity is 3.8 cents Kh here so it's about close to free as you can get

I used PVC on everything I could, I also tried to use a small section of flex tubing on eash side of each pump to absorb vibration.
