I'm curious as to what you guy's think....

How many of you use strickly sch 40 fittings on you large pumps

Who use's drain fittings inorder to reduce head pressure??

All of my tanks use schedule 40. I use high RPM pumps sized for the application so head loss is not a factor. Electricity is 3.8 cents Kh here so it's about close to free as you can get

I used PVC on everything I could, I also tried to use a small section of flex tubing on eash side of each pump to absorb vibration.

Golfish: good tip about a section of flex pipe, I agree it'll help with vibrations
