Chuck,
I use both on my 150 gal sps tank....if I had to choose I'd go with the Ca reactor. If I had a tank that needed less calcium I'd go with a kalk reactor.

A total of 195 gallon?

Go with calcium reactor.

You can always temporarily drip kalk if you really need.

I am looking at the new Knop model and think this is a cool design. The pump is integrated into the reactor body. his make it really compact and less likely to leak at plumbing fittings I believe.

Just built a ripoff of the Koriline reactor, all i can say is ow. Hold the PH,Calcium and ALK right on the money. Cost around $100 CND to make and about 2 1/2 hrs of my time. Go with the reactor i don't know why i waited so long to build one.

I also run both. I find it provides a better balance. Less co2 is needed and less kalk is needed. Kalk help with skimmimg, po2 removal and keeps the ph up. Co2 reactor adds more trace elements, keeps alk higher and is still running if one gets to lazy somedays to add kalk to the reactor or make-up water.
