[Q] about water flow

Hi guy...
I plan to make a 100 gallon F/O tank,
This time I wanna ask some question about water flow.

This tank has two overflow, the diameter of all plumbing is 1inch.
I plan to use Iwaki40rx for return pump. and two seaswirls.
Seaswirl is located on overflowbox. I think ,From tow seaswirl, Much water flow is made ,(I guess) it made sand bed broken...so....

I made a PVC_aquascaping frame. there was a lot of hole in pvc.
I think that...How about connecting seaswirl and PVC...
I mean, each overflow box has a ball valve, one side of it is for seaswirl and the other side is connected frame so controlling ball
valve I think I can control the water flow..

How about that?

The water flow from Iwaki40rx isn't stong?

MD40RLXT* 1" / 1" 1200 gph(Flow Rate@ 4' Head) 15.4(Max head ft)

Hi 7thheaven!

I think it would work just fine, just like a spray bar as long as there are enough holes throughout the PVC to give you the water flow your pump can produce. I would maybe make a couple of larger holes at the end of the run of PVC (holes at the furtherest end from the water entrance) to make sure the flow wasn't restricted.

It just might work.
