Just want to say sorrys for like so much questions and like seems so rushie and alls....hope someone can answers it... and all thanks though.....!! |

Just use shedule 40. It's cheaper and it works for it's application in a reef tank.
In terms of bulkheads, you just have to decide how you are going to glue it in terms or using threaded fittings. It should all work out the same if you plan it in advance. For me, I just usually use the standard (TxS) ones. THe size of the plumbing is dependent on the pump you are using. Usually you want to use the same size or larger size of the inlet and outlet of your pump. Looks like you got everything down in terms of plumbing parts to get. |

Slip seems easier to work with considering you are glueing it together. However, it becomes permanent. Therefore, it might become a little costly in the future if you ever plan to take down your tank and reuse the ball valves.
With some of the threaded fittings, you can reuse it again. Sometimes, it could be just the matter of finding the right fittings, especially at HD or Lowe's. I just get lazy sometimes and just find whatever is in stock at the hardware store at the time. |
